"Accidental moderates end up in the middle, on average, because they make up their own minds about each question, and the far right and far left are roughly equally wrong."

Paul Graham (Co-founder, Y Combinator)

The Veritas Chrome extension is a student-project by a team from New York University, Abu Dhabi. Veritas allows users to track and compare, in real-time, how politically-motivated media outlets are reporting an event from both sides of the political aisle.

We combine an NLP-oriented approach (powered by MonkeyLearn) to keyword isolation with Google custom searches built using Media Bias/ Fact Check's 5-point scale.
